May 11-14

Good afternoon families!

We have had another busy week in Kindergarten as we dove deeper into our inquiry on community helpers!

This week students practice and their research skills by using provided resources to learn new information about their favorite community helper(s)! They then used this knowledge to create a picture with some writing on duties one community helper does while on the job.

After learning more about our community's helpers, we then let our imaginations run wild as we used them to become community helpers! Using our imaginations we pretended to be police officers, firefighters and many more!

This week we also continued to practice our numeracy and literacy skills through hands on games and activities.

Great job Kindergarten!
